After a quiet start after Christmas we are starting to pick up quite a few orders from going to being really quiet we are now really busy! Hog roast order book is looking nice and starting to fill up fast and at the weekend we were in our village hosting a birthday party. The party was for a ladies 30th and we held it in her huge back garden. The morning looked a little unpredictable as we set up our marquee but within an hour the sun started to shine! We soon had the tables set and the food cooking nicely the lady was really nice and kept asking if she could help and we told her we were well in control and it was nice of her to ask but it was her birthday and she should be sitting back. We were catering for seventy five and were asked to make a buffet we placed the duck and lamb onto the machine and it was soon sizzling away cooking in its natural juices and retaining all the goodness. We then placed the potatoes onto the machine and started to make the jacket potato fillings, cheese, and chive, bacon and mushroom and butter bean as requested by the host. We then stated to chop the mountain of salad lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, spring onions, celery and carrot. And we drizzled the salad with our wonderful dressing made with our secret recipe! Soon it was time to get the food onto the tables, we sliced the duck and lamb and placed it on the tables the meat goes so far and just falls apart we then placed the delicious jacket potatoes onto the plates and put the jacket fillings in pots near the potatoes huge bowls of salad were placed on the tables too along with lots of fresh soft bread buns the guests were soon sitting down and tucking into the feast the lady was still trying to help us at the end of the party by clearing the tables we told her again in the nicest possible way to enjoy her self and leave it to us some people just cannot help them selves but they were so grateful!
