Hog Roast Andreas at Baby Reggie’s christening.

Clients Penny and Davos hired the Hog Roast Andreas team to create the buffet for their sons christening even before they had decided who exactly they were going to invite. The clients had experienced the joy of a Hog Roast buffet in the past and new instantly that they wanted the team on board for their son’s special day.

Hog Roast AndreasPenny and Davos worked with the team to come up with a luxurious menu for the midday buffet for the christening celebration.  Their 25 lucky guests were treated to an exciting and hearty buffet at midday on the day of the christening, courtesy of Catering Manager Fiona.

Fortunately the weather held fair and it was mildly warm too! Chef Fiona from Hog Roast Andreas arrived at the nice countryside marquee venue several hours before the midday serving time for the buffet. She set up the catering gazebo near the marquee and got straight to work creating every dish for the buffet.

The menu for the buffet included the tasty treats such as BBQ 100% Beef 6oz Handmade Burgers and Chefs Own Gourmet sausage. But that wasn’t all! There was also an exciting vegetarian lasagne as an alternative to the meat selection. Also on offer at the serving table was 3 choices of salad including a delicious Mediterranean pasta, there was also crisp skin on potato wedges for all to enjoy. Finishing off the midday meal was a selection of crusty bread rolls and an assortment of sauces.

At midday on the dot Chef Fiona helped the guests tuck into the buffet by assisting them with serving themselves. The guests used Hog Roast Andreas’s finest reusable bamboo crockery and cutlery for the event, which had been included within the clients catering package.

Once the guests had eaten their fill of the buffet Chef Fiona quietly and discreetly tidied away. She took all the rubbish away from the venue and disposed of it responsibly at a later time.

The clients and their guests had a marvellous time celebrating baby Reggie’s christening. The food was top notch and so was the company, all in all it was a wonderful day for Penny, Davos, Reggie and their guests
