Of course, with it being December last month, everyone’s minds were only on one thing: Christmas!
The festive period is naturally the busiest time of year for us, and 2020 was no different in that regard. Our phones were still ringing off the hook every day for weeks in the run-up to the holiday season, and the Hog Roast Injebreck catering crew had the privilege of being invited to countless festive-themed celebrations, ranging everywhere from workplace do’s to family Christmas dinners.
But as well as our more hands-on bookings like these, we also received lots of interest in our other services this time around, such as our DIY option, which allows clients to take on the task of cooking their very own spit roast by renting one of our machines for the day.
Richard was just one of many clients who opted to hire out one of our HogMaster’s last year, and he was thoroughly impressed by how simple and easy the device was to manage. Due to the nature of our equipment, it didn’t take him long at all to master the spit roasting skill. And on Xmas day he rustled up a delicious feast, which comprised of juicy turkey with sage and onion stuffing, cranberry sauce, pigs in blankets, cauliflower cheese and roast potatoes with Chantenay carrots and glazed sprouts, followed by indulgent dessert waffles and mince pies with brandy cream.
The client has since reached out to thank the Hog Roast Injebreck team for helping him to effortlessly produce a stunning festive feast that the whole family seemed to thoroughly enjoy!
