Hog Roast Kirk Michael – Rugby Awards Ceremony

We’ve reached a very special time of year for rugby enthusiasts all over the world as they gear up for the highly anticipated world cup finale in Japan, but even closer to home, celebrations were in order for Kirk Michael Rugby Club who got in touch with Hog Roast Kirk Michael in the weeks before their annual awards ceremony was set to take place. In charge of planning the event was rugby coach Carl, whose stress over organising the entire ceremony for 150 people disappeared almost immediately after speaking to our customer service team who assured him that everything would run smoothly once in the hands of our catering crew who have years of combined experience between them.

After taking a closer look at our varied menus which we’re proud to say offer something for everyone, Carl called back the following day to place a booking for our signature southern slow roast menu which incorporates a selection of classic American inspired dishes that have proven to be increasingly popular with our clients over the last few years. With the hardest part over and done with, Carl was glad to be able to relax knowing that Hog Roast Kirk Michael was already hard at work in preparation for his clubs big event that was just around the corner.

Before long, it was awards day and the catering crew headed out to the club’s headquarters with six hours to spare before the guests were set to arrive. Using the best, locally sourced and free-range ingredients we always do, the Hog Roast Kirk Michael catering crew pieced together the buffet which included BBQ pork butt, Texan 24 hour beef brisket, fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs and Cajun spiced chicken which were roasted low and slow until reaching tender perfection after being marinated in our secret recipe rubs. With the meats taken care of, the team turned their attention to the moreish side dishes of Memphis style crunchy coleslaw, corn cobettes, Greek salad and mac and cheese which were laid out next to an array of American whiskey inspired sauces and dips. 

Carl was so impressed with the professional service and delicious food offered by Hog Roast Kirk Michael that he has since been in touch to place next year’s booking ahead of time!
