Harry and his wife and approaching their golden wedding anniversary and are currently in the process of planning a celebration to mark the occasion. The couple got married on Valentine’s Day and are wanting to celebrate the weekend before, alongside their friends, family and neighbours. For the party, Harold has hired a marquee to be placed in the garden of his home, which will have enough room for 60 guests to enjoy a sit-down meal, followed by an evening of dancing and live music. For the menu, Hog Roast Laxey has been hired to provide a formal meal for the guests, including two courses of delicious catering. Our team was more than happy to get involved and we had plenty of options that would be ideal for this occasion.
In preparation for the party, we have planned to serve a classic hog roast for the main meal, served with all the trimmings. This will include slices of succulent pork, roasted baby potatoes, seasonal vegetables, sage and onion stuffing, homemade gravy and fresh applesauce. This menu is bound to go down a treat, with something for every guest to enjoy. Following the main course, the guests will then enjoy a dessert course consisting of miniature cheesecake and profiteroles. Each dish will be elegantly presented with fresh berries and English cream to ensure that they look and taste incredible!
