It’s always nice to get out of the bustling Kirk Michael centre and cater somewhere a little more off the beaten track where we can get back to nature in the wonderful British countryside. For this event in Kirk Michael we were lucky enough to be catering from a spectacular barn conversion right in the midst of the rolling Kirk Michael hills – beautiful!
Today was Tracey and Gerard’s golden wedding anniversary and so Hog Roast Kirk Michael were tasked with providing the catering for them and their fifty guests in order to provide the perfect winter warmer. Being well ventilated the Hog Roast Kirk Michael team were able to cater indoors which is always lovely when the weather is cooler and it really makes us feel an integral part of the party as we always get approached by interested and no doubt hungry guests. The menu for today was our classic slow roasted hog, they wanted simple yet delicious and so this we assured them we could provide. Setting up approximately 6 hours before the party began, we knew we would be able to get only the most succulent meat and crunchy crackling on top that Hog Roast Kirk Michael are known for.
When serve time finally rolled around, we were eager to get the hot hog roast out to all of the guests and see the look on their faces when they got their first taste. We were not disappointed. Tracey and Gerard were completely thrilled and we were impressed to see the queue steadily go down as everyone got their fill of our chefs’ homemade condiments.
As always, we are more than happy to box up any leftovers you may have as after all you wouldn’t want to waste any of our Hog Roast Kirk Michael. However, for Tracey and Gerard there was no need as their guests had polished off the lot – just what we like to see!
Congratulations once again, we wish all the best to the happy couple!
